Artist in Residence
All Along Press offers two residency programs to artists who work in the field of printmaking:
studio residency -
The Studio Residency is a long term artist in residence program for St. Louis based artists. Artists selected for this program receive full 24-hour access to All Along Press, and unlimited use of presses and printing materials. Studio Residency artists also curate and manage Gallery Proper, the shop’s store-front exhibition space, which focuses on installation-based print work.
Our current artist in residence is Angela Malchionno. Angela works in print media, fiber, and installation. She received her MFA in Printmaking from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (2007) and her BFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2002). Malchionno maintains a studio in St. Louis, MO, where where she teaches printmaking and drawing at Washington University.

visiting artist residency -
The Visiting Artist Residency is a short-term program for printmakers and book artists. The structure and duration of the program is determined by the project undertaken by the selected artists. Visiting artists are either invited by All Along Press or are chosen from an ongoing pool of applicants, and have full 24-hour access to the shop. Any artists who has a working knowledge of printmaking processes is eligible to apply for this program. To apply, please send a proposal outlining a specific project you would like to complete at All Along Press, a CV and 10 images of past work to info@allalongpress.com
Past visiting artists include:
Serena Perrone – Serena received her MFA (Printmaking) from RISD in 2006. She has exhibited her work in a number of group shows including The Print Center, Philadelphia, in the 81st Annual, juried by Shelley Langdale, Curator of Prints and Drawings, The Philadelphia Museum. Past exhibitions include “Voice: A National Exhibition of Work by Women in Contemporary Art”, selected by Juror Kara Walker, The Providence Art Club. Serena Perrone’s work is represented in the collections of the The Philadelphia Museum of Art, RISD Museum of Art, Smith College Museum of Art and The Whitney Museum of American Art among others.
